Take the Mammoth Hike Challenge This October!

Ready for an October adventure?

The Ice Age Tail Alliance's Mammoth Ice Age Hike Challenge is a fun way to enjoy Wisconsin at its colorful best. During October, participants are challenged to hike, walk, backpack, or run 46 miles on the Ice Age National Scenic Trail and visit three Ice Age Trail Communities.

Go solo, hike with friends or form a team - and complete the challenge at your own pace. Participants who finish can earn a limited-edition 2026 Mammoth Hike Challenge patch.

For Wisconsin Go Hiking C;ub members, there's an added bonus: some of the hiking you're already doing with the club may help you rack up those miles!
